Cake for Narcissus:

CAKE FOR NARCISSUS addresses the importance in many cultures of “unique personal seating”. Like fine shoes, some seating is subject both to ornamentation and to fit. NARCISSUS is shaped precisely to the artist/designer’s personal anatomy, fabricated in YKB (International Yves Klein Blue). Contrasting elements include the basic carnality of the concave seat, juxtaposed against the sheen of its chrome plated (readymade) encasement, and accented below by plumage whose primitive connotations form, with the blue seat above, a “sandwich” of contrasts.
